The Bancroft area features a variety of clean lakes, including small "motor free" lakes to large lakes with miles of boating. Our lakes offer great fishing, canoeing, boating, and swimming. Lakes are classified according to their acid sensitivity and rated on a scale of 1 - 5. (1) meaning acidic (2) extreme sensitivity (3) moderate sensitivity (4) low sensitivity (5) not sensitive.
